An Italian Bottega in Wimbledon

I love to find authentic and regional places in London, and not far from my flat there is an Italian place where you can buy fresh baked bread, fresh pasta, Italian groceries, house made salsas, cheeses, and charcuterie while drinking an espresso. La Bottega del Pane is an old in one store, bakery, delicatessen, patisserie, and coffee place.

La Bottega

The place

I passed by and couldn’t resist getting in and browsing around. Now is one of my weekly stops to buy bread and pesto sauce, but I can’t resist to add other artisanal products such as goat cheese, buffalo mozzarella, fresh pasta, and olives.

And more products

Good quality Italian products, excellent bakery, and superb pesto sauce.

Pesto reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Busboy”.

Jerry: Elaine is having a house guest. She's picking him up at the airport tonight.
George: A guy?
Elaine: Yes, a guy.
Jerry: He's from a.. Yakima, right?
Elaine: Seattle.
Jerry: Everybody's moving to Seattle.
George: It's the pesto of cities.
